OPAL - Outdoor Play
As many of you will be aware, we have started a project to enhance the offer for the children at break times and lunchtimes. After saving for the last few years we have been able to install some fantastic new equipment on the field and playground. The money that was raised through the sponsored event in the Summer has paid for the new sandpit. You might also notice lots of other developments around the school grounds and we will be further developing over the course of the year.
We will be using the grounds all year and so please ensure that your children have a pair of wellies and a coat with a hood in school at all times. If anyone has difficulty getting wellies for their child please speak to the office. Your children may come home slightly muddy as a result of having fun outside.
If you have any of the following to donate please bring them in!
Pots, pans, kitchen utensils (no knives)
Garden spades and trowels (no forks)
Small world toys such as cars, farm animals, dolls, etc
Clear plastic boxes with lids
Sheets
Clothes for the children to dress up in (adult sized shirts, skirts, dresses, hats, scarves etc not
dressing up costumes)
