The school policy is to strongly encourage the wearing of school uniform.  We hope that parents will feel able to support the uniform policy.  The school colours are red, white and grey.

PE Kit

Hair

We understand that children want to express their individuality but discourage extreme hair styles.  Pupils with hair longer than shoulder length should have it tied back for health and safety reasons

Jewelry

Jewelry of any kind should not be worn in school for health and safety reasons.  If a child is wearing a necklace/bracelet a member of staff will ask your child to remove it and will keep it in the school office until the end of the day.  Small stud earrings may be worn, but must be removed to PE and swimming.  If your child has recently had their ears pieced and cannot remove them then they must be covered with tape for PE.

Footwear

If your child comes in to school in boots during bad weather please bring suitable shoes for them to change into.  Children may wear any dark coloured shoes that do not have a high heel.  Trainers are discouraged.  Strappy sandals, open backed sandals or flip flops are dangerous and must not be worn.  Please clearly mark all footwear and clothing with your child's name.
